As the ultimate evolution of the Grand Army of the Republic, the Imperial Army swiftly asserted dominance throughout the galaxy, making use of highly trained soldiers, mechanized walkers, and overwhelming numbers.
In Empire at War, stormtroopers are voiced by veteran Star Wars voice actor Steve Blum. The Imperial Army, also known as the Imperial Forces or Imperial ground forces, was the land-based branch of the Galactic Empire's military. They are also able to capture reinforcement points in order to facilitate the introduction of more potent Imperial forces to the battlefield. They are, however, effective for garrison duties and against Rebel troops. Though intimidating, stormtroopers are weak to most vehicle classes, and especially to MPTL artillery. They are equipped with a variety of weapons, including E-11 blaster rifles, SE-14 blaster pistols and the DLT-19X sniper rifle. Although omnipresent, these troopers are also shrouded in secrecy, their faces and identities invisible to those they police and protect. Evolved from the clone troopers employed by the Galactic Republic, stormtroopers are incorruptible and ever-present reminders of the dominating presence of the Empire in all aspects of galactic life.
Stormtroopers are the white-armored enforcers of the Empire's rule. This unit can capture reinforcement points, build pads and some structures. Two squads (of 9 soldiers each) per company. Imperial soldiers well suited for garrison duties and neutralizing light enemy resistance.
